Well, I've never heard of a "Hybrid" programmer before...

I suppose Basic using lots of SYS, WAIT and USR calls, or including binary character set might be called hybrid. This has me wondering, if I would find a Basic or Kernel routine I call by hand (e.g. PLOT routine to reposition cursor), does it make my Basic program an hybrid, or is this only when I write my own ML routine to call from inside Basic?

I just said "hybrid" to cover any minute possibility Boray could think of to explain why his programs don't have a proper place. Who knows? Maybe he's using a Super Expander Cart or something for his programs.

Or write them in Forth, Pascal, Logo or whatever other odd language ever existed for the VIC (Comal maybe?). I dunno how many of those can compile executables outside their development environment though.

Err, ok.. neither of those are Basic per definition. Maybe Comal could be said to be a Basic extention, but not really.

i saw something called 'waterloo basic' or something, on ebay, (as a cartridge) which i am assuming was developed at the university of waterloo. (and yes for the vic 20)

has anyone used that cart. ?

Thanks Robert, the Pizza game is very nice (a bit too fast though).
I have a friend whose name is Robert in Sacramento, CA, and he recently opened a pizzeria - so when I play I imagine him delivering pizzas...

Thanks all ... I will convert all binaries to a more suitable PRG format this weekend. I added the screenshots as advised and a QuikVIC PDF to describe how to use that programmer's utility.

BTW, the rose DID work back then, and Susan and I married in August 1986. The marriage did not last, but we made a beautiful daughter in Erin.
