Improvements over V2.0:

You can now use the joystick during playback: Up = Fast forward (playing fast with audio), Down = Play slow, Fire = Skip to the next song/return to the menu if you play a single song. This only works with the default playback routine. Note that these speeds are not at all as synced as normal playback speed. The fast forward mode plays every second sample and the slow mode just puts in an extra delay. I also replaced one of the songs, "Nothing to say" because I thought it didn't sound very good. I replaced it with a tune called "Time Traveler".

Released: 8 October, 2013
Requirements: Unexpanded Vic-20 + Joystick
Description: Maze Craze style game

Image

A single-player game based on the Atari VCS game 'Maze Craze' and others. Get to the exit on the right side of the screen, then back to either exit on the top-left or bottom-left before your time runs out. Avoid the black hounds, hitting one will knock 10 seconds off your time.

The game gets progressively harder each maze with the enemy hounds speeding up, and the number of hounds increasing in number. Your player will also begin to slow on each return run.

100 points are rewarded for each return home, plus one point for each second remaining.
