power20 - vice ---- crossing over

Post by vicassembly »

I have been analyzing the code in "Turmoil" and this game uses interesting bitmapping. I haven't figured it out quite yet but I digress.

My emulator, power20 on the mac, seems to be lacking in this area. I loaded Vice on a windows machine and realize I do not even know how to load a .prg file. Damn, I am dull. Do I have to move everything to a .c64 and then attach that? Surely not.

With power20 I can simply double click on a .prg file and power20 is brought up.

Any pointers or 'read me' files to help me along with vice would be appreciated.

In Vice go to Auto start tape/disk(think its under the first menu choice) and you can choose a prg file also from there.

Or just drag the PRG file onto the Vice window... as long as you have the correct memory settings for it already ;)
