I used a version from RUN Magazine to make a speech board for my B128! You can find just the schematic on my CBM-II page: http://www.6502.org/users/sjgray/comput ... ematic.gif

I wrote a little IRQ driven playback routine to make it speak from BASIC!

Hello
About the Speech Sinthesizer cartridge
Very hard to find.
I found two complete schemes
"Speech Sinthesizer" one for Vic 20
Another for C64
Both connected to the User Port.
The C64 is beautiful and easy to make
The integrated is on the Internet.
Only problem for me to adapt the software
at the Vic20.
The user port seems to me to be the same for Vic and C64
Can someone write the program for the Vic20?

Sorry to come late to the conversation..But I have one of these carts too. I had lost the manual, so it was pretty useless without it until I found a copy at archive.org. Had been searching for one for literally years...
