Okay, I just ordered up a protopack of boards. I think I will get a few sockets and make a couple dev boards for testing the eproms. If anyone has a link to a socket they would recommend please post it.

These are the type I use https://www.ebay.com/itm/161282902870 but if you need them quick order from a USA seller. The machined ones that eslapion has are more durable for repeated use.

I'm getting them from eslapion but he doesn't have any capacitors.

How do these look?

Nice work. I say thank you very much for these layouts. After Chinese New Year I will order some and think about to bring them into my small hobby shop to give people the chance to buy a single PCB or a DIY kit for small money and without having long lead time from China.

Hi guys,

I have ordered and finally received the pcb for 8k and 16k cartridges :-).
Although I am good in soldering I would like to ask some help for the programming part. I will start with the 8K board and a 27C64.
My question is :
- does the binary needs to be 8k or is this the maximum?
- which files can I use from the Vic20 Tosec? CRT and PRG can be used for a straightforward programming or do they need to be transformed into Binaries?
- Is there a link where to have a bunch of ready to program 8k (or less) binaries?

Thanks a lot
Rick

Hi, all! I'd like to order the 8K two-panel cartridge PCB from PCBway, but they need a Gerber file instead of an Eagle file. Does anybody happen to have a Gerber file version of that?

Here it is. I haven't been on since 2020..it's been awhile. The PCBway will check them, if there are any issues just let me know.

Thank you! For the foreseeable future, I'm going to use MCes's JollyCarts, but I might order a run of these just for getting experience working with PCBway.

Also check with JLCPCB - they may be cheaper.
