List of banking memory expansions (more than 35K RAM)

Post by pixel »

EDITED according to the following postings.

Perhaps we could have a better starting point here for those who want to support more than one expansion.

* Ultimem (1MB)/ VicMIDI (128K) http://sleepingelephant.com/ipw-web/bul ... php?t=7990
* Behr-Bonz (?) http://sleepingelephant.com/ipw-web/bul ... =10&t=8565
* Final Expansion (512K) https://eden.mose.org.uk/download/FE3%2 ... 0Guide.pdf

Under development:
* SuperVixen+ (1MB) http://sleepingelephant.com/ipw-web/bul ... =11&t=8511
* VIC20 adaptive + 123K (See picture further down this page.)

I wrote a description of the banking modes and registers in an appendix of the FE3 User Guide I wrote

I developed a +123k REU that can be used as standard multi configurable RAM expansion and as 12x 8k paging on BLK5 for a total of 123k ram available.
Only prototype was produced, but if more than 4 people will be interested in getting it then I can draw the PCB and make the REU
