Wow, 286 of them! Only 2 left. Wonder where he got them.

These are not C2Ns, nowhere it says Commodore on them.

Yep I noticed that, too. Still, I'd like to know the full history :)

These look exactly like C2Ns to me, but the box is weird (mentioning the 64 and 128 but not the VIC-20 e.g., and not saying Commodore). If I had to guess (and this is just a guess), someone at some point got a huge lot of unboxed brand new C2Ns and got boxes made for them.

This wouldn't be without precedent. I got my 1581 drive from just such a situation. Commodore Canada had flats of drives when it went bankrupt. They had not yet been boxed (this was done in Toronto for the Canadian market).

He now states in the description that they are a clone. Not sure if it did previously or not. He's not the best at marketing is he showing a picture of a "?Load Error" on his advert :? :)

The image comes from Wikipedia.

I am surprised these things pop-up so many years after they were mainstream.

Ten years ago, I bought a "Fortronics" datasette which was NIB and still works very well.
Be normal.
