New Release: (vic 20 board game)

Post by Jeff-20 »

Happy New Year, Denial family! I made a board game for the VIC tentatively titled "One Key Party". Please try it by yourself or with family/friends.

Instructions:
One Key Party is a board game for 1 to 4 players for the unexapanded VIC using just one key (or joystick fire button) to play.

The goal of the game is to find the diamond at the end of the race track by opening boxes. Each turn gives the player two choices on how to progress.
Challenges must be spoken aloud and may be modified for player skill level if agreed upon by all. Chance cards are great for when you are falling behind, but some may require you to do embarrassing things for small gains. Hopefully, this will all make sense if you play it.

This is loads of fun, even to play by yourself. I wish I'd had this over Christmas, even Mum would have coped with the single-button operation!

Thank you.

Thank you, shirleyknott! I am happy at least one person played it (since the screenshot isn't very pleasing).

I have updated the file with a new version. I fixed some bugs and added a few tiny details. If anyone else gets a change to play, please let me know.

I tried it, when I choose "Take 3 free spaces" it advances the player piece all the way to the end?

Sorry! While fixing one bug, I created a new one (a 3 was mistyped as 33)! Fixed it. Please try again.

I'll give it a try as soon as my Vic works again! It looks like it'd be a great tool for teaching kids/teenagers about computers that are older than they are
