Vic-20 version of Stix?

Post by mingle »

Hi Guys,

A quick google didn't seem to tun up anything, so I was wondering if anyone know if 'Stix' was ever released for the Vic-20?

If not, it would make a great candidate for a port!

Cheers,

Mike.

See here: Squeeze. It misses the line animation though. :(

BTW, the arcade original goes by the name QIX.

Well... A fair attempt, I would say, but the QIX itself seems to be missing. I would assume that "THE QIX" should be quite relevant in a QIX port... :|
GOD is REAL. Unless declared DOUBLE PRECISION.

Squeeze is sort of a minimalist version of Qix but it plays very differently and you will fail miserably if you approach it as a Qix game.

I think Qix is a great game but I actually prefer Squeeze. I discovered it a year ago when it was one of the Qix inspired games of the first monthly VIC game club http://sleepingelephant.com/ipw-web/bul ... =10&t=8366

BTW, C64 Stix actually differs in small but rather significant ways from arcade Qix.
