International Karate VIC20 [Ultimem] [CANCELLED]

Post by majikeyric »

Okay time to reveal my actual VIC20 project :)

International karate is coming to your VIC thanks to the power of the Ultimem cartridge!
http://store.go4retro.com/ultimem-vic-2 ... cartridge/
It will require a 1024KB Ultimem, sorry the VICMidi is too small with its 128KB to hold more than 250 BIG software sprites and other extra stuff !

Up to 2 players with the Protovision 4 player interface.

Stay tuned!

This is not the only big game coming to the Ultimem. I'm very glad to see this one, as I love IK, it's one of my faves for the C64.

Kudos man. I had the same idea a while back but got no further than some graphics. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Those Bruce Lee sprites... The Ninja
Much improved to the C64-sprites.

Any chance you'd make the concept art available in its original MG format to view it in MINIPAINT?

Cheers,

Thank you! That's a really nice and funny sprite sheet. :)

I'll think over another utility in the batch suite to extract the bitmap data of single sprites in a similar way I did with VicShroom.

You gotta wonder what kind of games would have come out back in the day if they had the tools we have now.
