My tape just dropped through the letterbox. Will have to wait until after Xmas now to try it out on the real thing.

So far I've only played about 15 minutes on Pentagorat using VICE, but I am very impressed. Amazing work!

Well..
Tell your opinion or feedback about the tape. I don't have a copy. Only few pictures.

Now I have had the time to play it for a few hours.

I love it! Game of the year for me (not limited to VIC).

But I am a bit stuck at the moment. I have found four items and one crucial (so I guess) message. Every pixel on the life meter matters. I am able to (almost) never take any damage from the slow moving heads, but often lose a pixel (or two) to the fast moving projectiles when they move along stair cases or black ground.

Will try again later tonight :D

With regard to the physical release, I love the actual cassette, great choice of colour. My only (slight) criticism would be that some of the print on the inlay is a little tricky to read, but all in all a great package.

I ship Pentagorat in a selection of cassette colours. Not a lot of people know that.

Last night I resorted to using save states... Not proud of it but I made another breakthrough and considering the difficulites I had, it would probably have taken me forever without them.

Not finished it yet, but I must be very close (I have exited through the exit door). After that I will play it through without save states 8)

Confession time for me to, I have just completed the game using save states and Google Translate

Now I know the correct solution I shall attempt it without cheating, not sure I can beat 7:43:37 though :)

Loved the puzzles, it is great when it all suddenly falls into place and you can see the solution, even if it is still not straight forward to carry it through.

Thank you Misfit and RodHull for the excellent game and excellent package :D

I knew that you have to use Google translator before you can beat the game. It was one of the puzzles.

Did you notice that the last sentence told the whole story behind the game? Or was it too mystical?

I did notice it, but I must admit I didn't give it much thought at the time. Thinking about it now it does make sense and put the game in context.
