Yep! Ask pixel! ;) Or enjoy that new series of articles about tape making in Commodore Free. There's been one grand mistake that slipped through in the first one: don't go soft with the tape player's recording level. Turn the tape recorder's knob all across the red area to make it knock in 35yo doors. ;)

Just to make things clear in my aging mind:

1) The game we're talking about in this thread (and seen in the impressive YT videos) is DIFFERENT from the spectrum isometric game port, isn't it? If so, wouldn't the latter be sort of a redundant effort (Pentagorat vs Pentagram)?

and

2) Is there an ETA for Pentagorat now? Is it confirmed it will be a commercial product?

@Misfit - I know, I know, but I'm impatient to show everybody the "spectrumness" of my VIC :)

Yes, different product but similar name ( I took inspiration from Ultimate games and Pentagram )

We are implementing TAP loader and Rod got a test version. All features are implemented and tested. I hope that "tfw8b" can create a physical tape version of the game. But who knows.. :D

tlr is making a turbo loader for TAP-version (but he's very busy).
The game is (100%) completed but I have to make release testing etc.

I'm sorry that you have to wait..

Can you release it without a tape loader?

I guess many would be prepared to pay for a physical tape copy for Christmas, with an immediate PRG download available. Pixel made a turbo tape loader for Popeye in a matter of hours....

Sorry for holding all this up. It's just a matter of final design of the loader screen, I'll better get my things together and finalize this up.

So pretty and quick :D

Good thing VIC gets an isometric game as even ZX81 has one by now
