It works fine with my Manosoft C64SD (which is the previous version of the Princess). I tried with both Victragic's original loader and my own. For the original loader make sure your VIC is set to unexpanded (3583 bytes free) and your SD2IEC is set to device #8. Or just use my loader-version. Otherwise there must be something wrong with your setup or SD-Card.corpsicle wrote:Btw i tried playing it from Princess sd2iec and that didnt work.
Then i ran it from the uk1541 and that crashed the first time, but worked the second time. Just FYI.

Ah! My Princess is set to drive #9!
Well thats solved then.
Ill see if i can recreate the issue with the uk1541.

Re: WIP - Blazer for unexpanded Vic (PAL & NTSC)
I have made some updates to the game.
-Added some twinkling stars in the sky
-Fixed the bug where it caused you to die on restart
-Fixed a bug where the ball bounced on a hole before falling down it
-Rewrote the sound effects, much happier with them now
Sacrifices..
-Rasters no longer stable (you can see tearing in raster lines now)
-Only 15 instead of 16 levels
I couldn't make the rasters stable on NTSC, and I didn't want to maintain two lots of code, so unfortunately the PAL version now has visible tearing.

Hmm, while I love the updates it's a shame to see stable rasters on PAL go. This made the game look so much more professional in my opinion. Please reconsiderVictragic wrote: -Rasters no longer stable (you can see tearing in raster lines now)

Re: WIP - Blazer for unexpanded Vic (PAL & NTSC)
I concur. If its not possible for stable rasters using conditional compilation to output the two binaries, then I would vote for a single PAL only version.

Haven't tried the updated version yet, but to be honest, if it's a better game overall, make it PAL only.

Seems unanimous .. okay, think I will bring back the stable raster version..
