Tau Ceti

Post by freshlamb »

This is the set of text adventures I have been working on. It took way longer than I wanted, but I don't think I knew what I was starting (it is about 40000 bytes altogether). Anyway there are 6 linked text adventures all in ML. I tried to have all 6 adventures follow a story line as if you were exploring the planets around Tau Ceti. If you find any problems (or need hints) message me. But I will be out of the (my) country for about 2 weeks, so I probably won't be able to do anything till I return.

I just love text adventures. Looking forward to give this a try :D

Just sad the shipping cost is so expensive because I love your colorful cassette covers :D
Kind regards, Peter.

I tried these and there are a few spelling/grammar errors in this and the other text adventures (I would be happy to help with) but otherwise the games on the site play well enough and are interesting.

I'm afraid that is my Achilles heel. I did make pains to try and get everything spelled properly for Tau Ceti, but a few may words have slipped through the cracks. At this point it would be extremely difficult to add anything to the data as almost every byte is used for many of the adventures. Betelguese on the other hand is all in BASIC except for the last adventure. I would appreciate any improvement that would be made to that set of adventures. Thanks for your interest.

I tried Tau Ceti. Nice presentation! I ended up wandering randomly around for a while with no obvious direction.
Typo: Betelguese -> Betelgeuse.
