This does not feel like a new game. It feels like I've discovered a hidden gem from the 80's. Tough like an older game too, but I've managed to make some progress. Nice work!

Great Game :!:

I want to add it to TOSEC.
Can i use this build 3 , or will there come another release ?
What should be the coder name in TOSEC ? "Misfit" or your real name ?

Bertie The Ball (2014)(Misfit)[16k].prg or Bertie The Ball (2014)(Keranen, Mika)[aka Misfit][16k].prg

Bertie The Ball (2014)(Misfit)[16k].prg or Bertie The Ball (2014)(Keranen, Mika)[aka Misfit][16k].prg
You can use Bertie The Ball (2014)(Keranen, Mika)[aka Misfit][16k].prg version

I hope that "build3" is a final packet. (if I can not find any new bugs)

I got a few screens in before I realised I could make little hops. Any hints on how best to jump over the short floor spikes to the right of the start?

Did you check youtube video?
It shows few tips..

When you are flying, push joystick down and you can make a careful jump.

I've been able to get the key consistently. My best run I was caught by the collapsing floor, and took a lucky bounce off an enemy to find some magic. Then I found a room I keep getting bounced out of. I'm guessing this is where I need the lamp. Pit trap got me after that.

It's always nice to hear that somebody plays my game more than few minutes!

That "collapsing floor" room provides a lamp and it's very tricky place (motivation killer :D ). Highest jump power before "collapsing floor" tiles is way how you can bounce to higher platform.

Scary how difficult I'm finding playing this game.. looks and sounds brilliant though. Makes me wonder why aren't there haven't been more games that use detailed 'cartoon' graphics like this?

..or more isometric games, for that matter.

Well done!

I am totally addicted to this game.

I have found the lamp and the key as well, but the thought of bringing everything together still seems near impossible, yet I just can't give up.

Thanks once again for showing what the VIC is really capable of :D
