Getting better.....

Main issue now I think is that if you press and hold down the button it flaps multiple times. This sometimes pushes you into the columns and kills you, if you hold down a little longer than intended.

Can you put a lockout in so you have to release and repress the button for each flap?

Hmm.. it has a button lock. You have to release button between flaps. Is this Win PC keyboard feature? (repeat key or something?) My Mac does not have this problem.

Ok you're right, it doesn't do this if I switch to keyboard setting in vice.

Tested again on real hardware and it seems to play much better now!
