OK, thanks, I'll look it up.

Haven't forgotten your tape btw, just been so busy lately. Our main PC deciding to die hasn't helped. I suppose it's done quite well at 8 years.

I have, but then I wrote it so have some insight into how certain bits of it work. The logic of the ghosts is extremely basic - study them and work out what they do, then the whole thing becomes a lot easier! ;)

Hey Chris, nice to meet you :)

Are you the same person who wrote the C64 conversion of Manic Miner for Software Projects btw?

Yes, the very same for my sins - it took me 6 weeks and gallons of Dr Pepper to keep me awake! I've still got a 'portable' C64 that worked last time I tried it. :D

Double welcome then... I can't remember if it's been fully detailed about what exactly happened with the C64 conversion. I've heard some odd things about it being initially rejected. The credits for the game says "Chris and Kris Lancaster". If you don't mind, would you be willing to talk some about the conversion process in general, and what happened? :)

Hi Mayhem,

I'd be happy to clear up the details of what did and didn't happen with the MM conversion. :)

Are you old enough to remember those sunstrips on car windscreens? Well we had a Mini with one and there was no way I was going to have Chris & Chris on it so my girlfriend and future first wife Christine was happy to use Kris to avoid any possible confusion! Her name was part of the credits as she spent hours reading out numbers read from a Spectrum for me to type into the VIC-20 - it was the easiest way of getting the graphics characters transfered from Matt Smith's original version.

Are you on Skype?

Heh, that's great :D

Sadly, I'm not on Skype. Would it be okay to email you some questions and go from there? :)

EDIT: mmmhh... I think you're gonna post that you will become father, right?

Well... that's great!
