Chinese Patience card game

Post by vicist »

I've been playing a version of this on a 'speccy' and quite enjoying it, but I want to play these games on my Vic - so I made my own.

There are many different versions of the rules to playing this game but this plays the game I prefer.
The A.I. is a simple creature, but it can beat you nonetheless (see screenshot)!!

It requires 16+ memory and is a single file .prg
Enjoy (or not).

Will do :)
Thank you for this neat game Vicist, I've been looking for card and board games for a long time since Mike's excellent version of Mahjong.
I remember the fun I had in converting Mille Bornes a thousand years ago. If only I had all the spare time I had back then...

Have you a copy of that game. The link in that thread is misbehaving.

Found and fixed a bug. If you try to move a card from an empty pile, the program stops with an 'illegal quantity' error.
Download a non crashing version from the original post.
Apologies.

Oh, I see now....

I fixed a bug in my Chinese Patience game, which is NOT in Mega-Cart, not in Mille Bornes, which IS in Mega-Cart.
