** Revision 2018 Invitation / Website

Post by Mike »

From March 30th to April 2nd 2018, Revision, the world's biggest pure Demoscene event, opens its doors at the E-Werk in Saarbrücken, Germany!

Since 2011, each year there were attending around 800 visitors from than 30 countries. Main language is English, with people coming from Europe, overseas, and all over the world.

See the "No Invitation" demo and the website, so you get a first impression of what to expect.

The party features several competition categories, of which some are also eligible for VIC-20 releases. The productions will be shown on a BIG screen, and are supported by a heavy sound system. :)

Between the competitions, enough opportunities to learn new things in seminars, eat, drink, party, socialize and make new friends. And yes, there will be a bonfire!

Tokra and me already signed up. If you're also planning to be there, register as visitor on the website and drop a short notice here, too! :D

Cheers,

Michael

We're just 2 short of 500 pre-registrations at the instant I write this!

If you intend to show up, please give a short notice here in the thread, so the 'usual suspects' (for the moment still only tokra and me) know what they're up to. :)

Here are some greetings and photos from last year's Revision: (link)

I was able to talk to Jens Schoenfeld quickly about Micromys V5 and it was nice to see there were actually 4 releases for the VIC-20. heaven6502 also released an entry for the 4K Olkdskool intro competition:

And Mike and I both released a small production for the Oldskool Graphics compo. Will try to put mine up later today (pure party production).

Does the d64 image work on an SD2IEC card reader ? I can't get the demo to run on my VIC.
Thanks.

I am no sd2iec expert.

As I run it in VICE and transferred to real disk.

As it uses custom fastloader that might be the issue?
