Re: ** Greetings from Revision 2017!
A Happy Easter to all Denial fellows!
Here we go with some impressions from Sunday morning:
(Main hall and parking lot)
(Main hall front)
(Infodesk)
(Main hall. People just waking up. )
(Oldskool gaming platforms. Fodder for Centallica. )
(T-Shirts for sale)
(The bonfire in the outdoor area)
More to follow when it's more crowded.
P.S. thanks to tokra for hosting the photos.

Close I released a picture I did in FCBPAINT in the Oldskool Graphics Competition, you can see the live-recording here (with quite knowledgable commentary by Sir Garbagetruck, actually):ldxstx wrote:Next images I guess will be about the coolest Vic 20 demo ever that you prepared secretely for the oldskool compo, isn't it?

I will post the actual release/download later. Just got home from Saarbrücken and a 6-hour-car drive.

Re: ** Greetings from Revision 2017!
Did you bring real VIC20s to the party guys or just PC laptops ???
Re: ** Greetings from Revision 2017!
I brought my VIC-20 as it is required to show the demo working on the real machine. Also, the demo needed to be recorded, so the real machine was needed for that as well.

Re: ** Greetings from Revision 2017!
Sorry for the delay... I had those stored to the internal memory of my camera by mistake.Mike wrote:More to follow when it's more crowded.
(The setup of tokra (right), and me (left) with two laptops and tokra's VIC-20... VICE and VIC-20
both run the CGA emulator, and tokra is just doing the 103% edit of Vic McKracken on his laptop)
(Left side of the main hall during a compo in the Sunday afternoon)
(Popcorn! You could smell it through the entire hall when the machine was started... )
(The right side of the hall. In total 25 table rows with 2x5 tables each. Each table with 3 seats. 750 places!)
(...YES!)
So you know what to expect if you attend next year.
Cheers,
Michael
