VIC 20 & Guarantee seals

I have a question for the experts. Did Commodore also use guarantee seals on the case, like on the C64 covering the screw holes. If not, any ideas when they were indroduced?

Neither of my two original VICs (one which I've owned since new) had any form of tamper label.

on the 100 or so vic20s I have here , none have a factory seal , a few have/had repair center ones
the bobs tv repair type ones
I didnt notice the factory ones becoming common place until the 64c came out

Same thing here in Canada.
