Mr. Schönfeld should use HCT logic chips ONLY on his C64r and it would be an incredibly easy thing to do. It changes nothing to the cost of his components. I can think of only one reason why he wouldn't correct the situation but I won't mention it because I want to stay polite.

I am not the only one to have warned him of this problem.

Unlike the falsehoods you threw for years at the ST PROM PLA solution, I clearly described the problem AND suggested an easy and perfectly free solution.

since jens runs a company and is selling that board as a commercial product, anyone who would see "electrical issues" with it should simply contact him and get it replaced/fixed, it's that simple really.

The difference between you and me is I try to provide accurate information that renders service to ALL the community, even you and Mr. Schönfeld. Knowing the issue with using HC chips with Commodore ICs is a freely available and graciously provided opportunity to improve the quality of his products which he balked at.

Considering what you said about my own solutions related to PLAs I think it is in your best interest to re-examine the things you've posted in the past. Vague claims? Untenable accusations?

My scope, the 500MHz logic analyser lent to me by Mr. Brisebois and my digital multimeter don't suffer the "Kruger effect".

In answer to technical facts and official application notes from circuit manufacturers, your reaction is to diagnose me with a psychiatric condition.
