Going to World of Commodore 2012?

Post by Jeff-20 »

I'm going (for the first time). Is anyone else from here going to be there? I'm wondering what to bring.

Same.

I wish there was something like that in Scotland though...

Hmmm, tempting... not getting any younger. :P

It's a 9+ hour ride covering 528 miles in my mini cooper, so that's a bit more than a 12-gallon tank of gas @ 40.5 mpg. I could leave after Saturday midnight, go directly to the show for 10am, then stay over night, and trek back home the following Sunday morning.

Weather was fine for me, only crossing the Hudson could have been worse. I am here looking for Jeff and anyone else from Denial! Hello? ;)

Fun was had! I got to meet rhurst (the most generous guy in world!) and promote the Denial forum to the greater community! Totally worth the trip!

It was great to meet you in person, Jeff. I would have liked to have talked with you more. I did a write-up and mentioned your excellent presentation.

I hope we run into each other again in the future.

Paul, Robin, Schema, Golan, rhurst, and a bunch of other Denial regulars/alums were there at one point or another. Eventually it'll become a VIC event! haha

I was actually in Toronto that very day, but had to attend a conference all day.

Did anything happen after 5pm? I could have attended then (but I would have had no way to get to Mississauga). Maybe if the same arrangement happens next year I might be able to attend for the evening.
