I'll never understand the post office. I know for sure I would never run a business out of Chicago. If the 10.25% sales tax weren't enough reason, I couldn't have customers waiting this long for mail. I sent everything first class too!

But I didn't request a package because I no longer have a datasette and all my disk drives are packed away. Did you send me one anyway? I don't think you even have my current address.

I hope I haven't gummed up the works. :(
In the end it will be as if nothing ever happened.

I received mine a few days ago (and since I have been out of the Denial loop for a while I wasn't even expecting it). Thanks Jeff! It's awesome!

Aha, ha, ha, ha!!! I went to the Post Office yesterday to see if it was just sitting there or if the postie had forgotten to put a card through my door as per English Invaders suggestion. I had no luck and had just given up on ever getting it...

Starting work late this morning I decided to have an easy morning and geek out online with a big mug of coffee. Guess what happened? My intercom buzzed and it was the postie with a package for me...it was number 37 of the Denial Collection 3!! It's here!!! The post date is December 10 so it's only taken 34 days for the first class parcel to arrive.

I have to work now but the first thing I'm going to do tonight is load up this baby. :)

Thanks so much Jeff. Even without loading up anything it's obvious you worked really hard on this. Loving the presentation. :)

Roll on tonight!

I only have a handful left. Anyone else still waiting on a package that has yet to arrive? Tell me before I sell off the extras.

fyi, I put another one up on eBay. Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0462457607

I think the limited edition idea was a good one. I can't figure out what is a proper limited edition quantity number. DC1 was only 10 copies or so. DC2 was around 25 copies. DC3 was 45 copies. Think more or fewer would be ideal?

I see there has been a number of Vectrex limited edition releases lately. I think none of those has exceeded 50 copies, and the number of potential Vectrex collectors seems about equal to the number of VIC-20 collectors.

It depends on how much labor and how many tapes/disks/cartridges you want to spend. Anywhere between 10 and 50 seems like a good number for a truly limited edition. If you want your work to be spread to a larger audience, up to 100 copies might make sense. Technically speaking every single game is a limited edition even if it is limited to five million copies. :-P

If a commercial game sells well, it will continue to be produce until it is no longer commercially viable. A limited edition is limited to a specific number before production, no matter what the demand.

Oh, there have been a few Vectrex LEs that have had more than 50 produced.

Btw if anyone here at Denial OWNS a copy of the Denial Collection 1, please PM me ;)

As for the Vectrex, most LEs have been 100 units or thereabouts. A few have been less, but usually greater than 50. Some of George's have been more than 100.

I think the highest run could end being Vectrexians; Kristoff sold all 150 he originally made and has produced another batch for sale. I think George might have made 250 copies of I Cyborg and pretty much sold them all now, so that's the top to shoot for.

He is taking an unusual line for the next game though; having a pre-order window until the end of March and anyone who order a copy of the game will get one regardless of how many orders he receives. After that though, whether he makes any more he will decide...

I feel blessed to own a copy, Jeff, no matter how many are/were/will be produced -- thanks again and good luck with your auctions. Is $5000 bounty still on?

Quick! I need to answer this ebay question. Anyone still have the packaging with the postal sticker. I'm getting conflicting info on how much it cost to send to Canada.

I mailed close to 15 boxes to Canada, and no one kept the box?! Grrr... the online estimator seems really off.
