Wanted: projects to be released on Cartridge
There are tons of c64 Cartridge releases The Vic, however, has been severely neglected. So, if you have a game or utility that would make a great cartridge release, lets talk and see if we can get something out there!!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: VIC 1112 IEEE Interface
ok, but just to be clear. The clone (or re-imagining) is 100% based off the original 1112, in fact the prototype run was the original layout with jumpers in place of solder pads. We made a few changes to the layout for the production run, and removed some of the jumpers that were not needed. So the ...

Re: VIC 1112 IEEE Interface
BTW, take a cue from Eslapion. We do not always see eye to eye and have had our differences, but he doesn't jump right into the mud pit....
I personally have never static zapped something, but I have to mention it or someone may purposely do it and say I didn't warn them

Re: VIC 1112 IEEE Interface
And since we are addressing things, it should be clear to everyone that the poster known as VIC-1112 is not actually a backer, since when confronted with the chance to prove it, he declined and stopped responding when the refund offer was extended. And for someone encouraging the reporting of a kick...

Re: VIC 1112 IEEE Interface
OK, well, I thought we were done, but here we go: I said it would be cheaper to refund you because it would be, this is the SECOND card I sent you and I sent it before your profanity laced tirade. So sorry I sent you something you so desperately wanted, my bad. I am happy to post the full contents o...

Re: VIC 1112 IEEE Interface
Thanks for the tip, and on most projects i don't. But the hex bus inverters tend to fail over time (not alot, but it happens in PETs fairly regularly) so I decided to just socket the whole thing, its really not any more trouble.

Re: VIC 1112 IEEE Interface
Also, just to be clear about how I am addressing this issue: https://c5.staticflickr.com/6/5474/30908699436_d69e23d1a5.jpg image by markgladson , on Flickr Those are the last 11 boards needing assembly, I am burning the ROMS for them now while the iron cools off :) Per the kickstarter update, I expe...

Re: VIC 1112 IEEE Interface
Not sure why you need the approval of an admin here to prove to me you are an actual backer and not a troll come home to roost. Tell you what, if the length of time has been too much and you are truly a backer, just pm me your order info and I will happily refund your money with my apologies. Otherw...

New VIC RAM/ROM cart
After the success of VICMEM, I decided that I was not above feature creep, so Jbevren, DDI and myself set about to "improve" the design Jim Brain made for me (Thanks Jim!) so the new model features are: Map RAM into blks 1,2,3 and 5 as well as standard 3k expander Map 2764 ROM into Blk 1,2...

Re: VIC 1112 IEEE Interface
Thanks for posting anonymously so we cannot verify that you are actually a purchaser. Please do report me if you cannot fathom that this is a hobby not a business. and to be fair, I sold a not fully populated board outside the kickstarter, much like I sold some of the prototypes. Kickstarters come w...

Re: VIC 1112 IEEE Interface
So, as promised, I shipped kakemoms package first thing this morning. I arrive home to a nastygram asking for a refund. This is the second cart I have sent for this transaction. Did I wait a bit to send the second? YES, as I assume the post office is slow over there and wanted to make sure he wasn't...

Re: Hopefully the winner of this dumps the proto
It went too high for my wallet as well, however, perhaps when there are extremely rare items in an auction like this, we should pool our resources to see that it gets dumped!!
