I've successful patched ZoomFloppy firmware from Nate Lawson to support IEEE-488 drives. After a few days testing I will send sources to Nate for integration.

I'm not sure anyone here want to use it with IEEE-488 drives, so it is only for information if anyone want to test.

Loader file is loaded as normal BASIC text from $1000. At $6000 start the working area from fe3 loader. So the maximum should be $5000 (20480 bytes) for loader file. Loader files shouldn't be too big, cause user have to scroll down many pages. I think it is better to make nested loader files, so use...

In your loader file all settings are equal? You have to config each game individually.

You always protect ALL blocks? Does all of these games run on a unextended VIC?

This is not clear.

I have two cables. On cable works for my C64 and my VIC and the other cable does only work for my C64. It was a surprise for me, but it is sure, I have checked this many times.

This shop sells cable explicit for VIC-20. The shop is good, I often bought CBM accessories: click

You simply could use a FE3, On a SD Card you can place all demos ever made for VIC-20.

I would set this code either into the kernel (kernel replacement) or as a $9 cartridge with autostart.

I got mine from a electronic parts distributor without ordering it. I bought a resistor collection (ten items for each values, about 1000 resistors) and this gauge was a part of it.

Sometimes you can get it on eBay: click

There was a vice port for NDS, but it was too slow. NDS has two processors: 66 MHz Arm9 and a 33 MHz Arm 7

But vice runs very fine on my WIZ (Arm9 with 500MHz).

sorry, Denial, I don't have a Christmas present for you. I still have to lay out the other levels, which will take a few days. I might also convert a few more songs. No problem, we waited nearly 30 years for that, so it makes no difference to wait another couple of weeks or month ... ;) But i...
