Eslapion is a good guy to deal with; I've bought stuff from him before, and he's 100% genuine. I've bought an Amiga 2000 and a Behr Bonz cart from the guy, both have been exceptional deals. I think the guy doesn't charge enough. If I needed a power supply, he's the guy I'd buy from.

Just my $0.02.

I hat to say it, but basic on every computer truthfully is pretty.....terrible.....Unless your programs are simple and not resource intensive.....Like....5 variables?....Mhm.... That's nothing. I walked to school uphill both ways in 5 feet of snow when I had my Vic. 5 variables? If you couldn't mak...

Wow well I'd love to see those programs.....Ran out of memory? Did you seriously use Basic? Of course. That was the beauty of the Vic 20; a 12 year old could write some of the most wicked awesome programs ever with it, using an easy to understand programming language. Some of them can be downloaded...

Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.10. Need Windows 7 for my career (can't control my DG700 pressure flow gauge with anything but MS), like Ubuntu 9.10 because I've always liked alternative operating systems. Thus, I dual boot.

I can tell you why the Vic 20 was superior to any CoCo computer in the early 1980's: It was a REAL computer with a REAL keyboard and peripherals compatible with computers used in local schools and some businesses that a 12 year old boy could afford with his paper route money. For around $100, I was ...

So, is this sort of like janitor / rent-a-cop / general gopher type job? I thought you were to going to retire last year in luxury based on your clever investment strategies. How's that working out for you? Investment strategy worked fine. This is more of a "Retirement" type of job, where...

I know, I know, your cute little society up there doesn't give you the ability to have firearms, but rather than bring that up, you make it out like I am hard up for cash. You prove that you're really are as dumb as you look with comments like that. I'd invite you to test your theory out, but frank...

Personally, I'd just get a VIC-1541. Apparently, they're as common as borsch, even though I've eaten many more bowls of borsch than I have seen VIC 1541's. I digress. Visually, the Vic 1541 goes just as well with a Vic 20, works with a Vic 20 just as well, and is a genuine Commodore product. The onl...

You know the feeling you get when you talk to a sales guy, and theres just something not quite right about his pitch? He's not trying to sell anything, you stupid jackass. I knew you were hard up for cash, but bitching about a $2.00 donation really is pathetic. I'll pay $2 for you to shut yo...

And for the not-so-technical, I would not categorize all of our computers as mere terminals connected to servers. Perhaps you meant "our sessions here at Denial" ... ? I meant that in the context of web access, such as Denial or, in the context of this thread, which would be the posting o...
