Had to show this, I think it is from an Australian add (not sure). Most Probably not commodore brand at all, but look how the monitor's design matches the vic20 and datassette.... Stunning! I wonder if it was from a third-party manufacturer making hardware to match commodore stuff? If not, this is a...

Hi! welcome here! It seems to me Canada is well-stocked with vic-20's lying a bit everywhere. Here in the far east (New Brunswick) I see them appear quite regurlarly on Kijiji. Have you tried Kijiji? if you live near a fairly large city in BC, your chances could be good to eventualy score one for 10...

Programmer's Aid reference Card
I know people using the programmer's cartridge all know the commands by heart for the F-keys, but it is fun to dress-up. Anybody interrested in having programmer's aid Reference card? white on white: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7198/6798967486_a4c042ea43.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7178/6945...

I'd say if you are interrested in learning to make things (programs in BASIC for example). Then all the time spent on your vic-20 will not be in vain even if you move onto the c64 one day. It has the same BASIC version so all the you will learn remains applicable, except different parameter numbers ...

Really elegantly simple. Despite not being in a case, only about 1cm or so hangs out the back of the computer once it is installed (giving access to the switches). I was thinking about making my own case, but after plugging it in and looking at it I haven't bothered progressing the idea. There is s...

Hi Shamusboy! Thanks, happy new year to you as well! My text adventure project, periodically stalls and picks-up again, as time permits, and as it compete's with other passtimes. Some progress is made, as I now have Ram expanssion + programmer's aid EPROM and actual programming and saving to disk ha...

hi Griz!!! thanks for these links/books! It is much appreciated. Indeed, I have resigned myself that this project will require ram expanssion. I must say that while the first PC I owned was a 486, I used to get to use Apple II's (school) and Tandy computers (friend) quite regurlarly before that. Odd...

It would be a real plus to improve the VIC control station with some Minigrafik-enhanced software. Just imagine real-time hi-res graphics of humidity and temperature, with on-off lights status depicted on the screen... :) . Wonder if those VIC-REL clones are still available in Ebay. real-live plott...

Are you thinking of doing a text adventure game? that would be a very good for a star-treck game, after all star trek is very much about the story line and plots. However, one down side of text adventure here is that if you base it too much on an episode, people who already known that episode will f...
