Wav files

Is there any websites that have converted wav files of tapes? I want to get a tape emulator but converting all those taps take alot of time. So any that have been done will be helpful.

Thanks

Re: user port usb adapter

Yeah I totally get there is not any old programs that would use a mouse. It's just like anything new that comes out new. Everything new requires programmers support. You should know that better than anyone. Your mods to the vic and software you right is incredible. I was just curious as to why know ...

Re: user port usb adapter

Well I know I've seen quite a few threads about trying to make a mouse work on the vic. I've also see posts about people needing a mouse for a new icon driven os. Also the keyboards won't last forever so it would be nice to have an open option. Just think, you could hook up a keyboard with a long co...

Re: user port usb adapter

Thanks for the link. That's a neat idea, but since I have this card I'll be using tcper for the connection.

But can this be used for a mouse or keyboard? I have no idea how to write code that well. lol Just wondering if it is possible?

user port usb adapter

So I was checking out ebay the other day and noticed this. It's a RS232 to usb user port adapter for the vic 20. So I decided to pick one up. Here is the link https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-GGLABS-GLINKUSB-LT-Commodore-64-128-User-Port-RS232-to-USB-VIC-1011-UP9600/401037237043?hash=item5d5fae9b33:g:4z...

Re: Anyone here tried the Nano Vic-20?

Has anyone added keyboard support for this yet? I bet it would be fun to play with if it could stand alone. Heck add sd card support and now were talking.

Ramdisk drive

Back in the day I use to have a CMD Ramlink for the c64. I use to use it as a drive and store the geos bootdisk on it. Is there anything like that for the Vic-20? The load speeds were awesome with that and jiffydos on the c64. It also had a battery I could plug into the unit so I would not lose data...

Re: My 2-prong DC PSU experiments

Why not just use a pc power supply? It provides both 12v and 5v. Could be used for internal mod or as a plugin mod.
