Re: The Vicious Dead (jrpg)

Nice. Seems to hint at some Ash from Evil Dead themes, I like it. 'This is my boomstick!' :)

Re: Loading device and streaming Vic20 software

The ZX Spectrum has the advantage of having the mic input plug built in unlike the Vic20.

Re: International Karate VIC20 [Ultimem] [CANCELLED]

Am working for an event ticket online shop. Tell me about hard times. Unfortunately, I feel your pain. I work(ed) for the biggest ticketing company in my country. The government banned gatherings in my country and basically made the entire business defunct. Half the company was stood down on the sp...

Nice.

Hrmmm.... I am thinking a set of coasters with a different C= 8bit machine would be kind of cool to have.

Re: Denial Return to Print

With COMMODORE FREE gone that'd quite fill a hole in the stomach. Am worried about what happened to Nigel Parker...
Sorry to go off topic but what did happen to Commodore Free? I noticed new versions stopped for a while and then the site just disappeared for me.

Re: Megacart is back

You may have better luck in picking up a "Behr Bonz" board with 127 games on it. It used to be sold by a well known member on this very forum. Not sure is that is still being made? I got mine years ago.
Thanks for the suggestion but I already got that covered a little while ago :)

Re: Commodore VIC-20: A Visual History (PDF edition) - free

If memory serves, he gave us a complimentary digital download when we backed the book on Kickstarter.
I never backed the kickstarter but will have a look to see if a digital copy is available or not.

Re: Megacart is back

:( I looked at getting one of these just before they stopped being sent out.

From the chatter I had seen around, I was wondering how many back orders there were and if it would impact my ability of putting in a request. Looks like there were a decent amount and it will. Oh well.

Re: Denial Return to Print

I like the idea.

I still subscribe to one or two non-main stream magazines. I find that it is great to sit down and read. It allows me to catch up on things of interest I may have missed or not been aware of.

Re: Commodore VIC-20: A Visual History (PDF edition) - free

I know the feeling. While I have bought the physical copy already, getting the PDF would have been nice and convenient and also let me minimise the chance of damaging the physical version I already have.

Re: Commodore News Page closes doors :(

I didn't even realise this site existed. I always seem to find out about some of these good sites via 'we are shutting down' posts :(

As for Facebook, I prefer forum websites over Facebook. I don't like the way Facebook organises its posts.
