of course you can never guarantee that some funky demo isn't going to write unexpected stuff to unexpected locations Very often its not those "funky demos" - but old games. The Demos mostly are coded very clean and made by people who knew exactly what they are doing - other than the games...

This happens when the RAM at the top of basic (where the basic programs end and the strings are stored) is broken (or when it is ROM not RAM as expected). On the C64 anyway - but i guess its the same on the VIC

A "Diagram" is usually something graphical... This is a table ("Tabelle"). If it would only include the characters, then "Zeichentabelle" would be fitting. But i really dont know how to properly describe this one, its an interesting mashup of information

The easter weekend is a convenient date because all german workers have public holiday from friday to monday (same in other european countries i think)
