Now that I look at it, it does, but I see a better resemblance to the compaq portable. The machine I have was made around 1986. The Tandy 1400 I have was made in 1988. The VIC-20 is truly "The wonder computer".

If I had the budget I would love to buy a Penultimate. Unfortunately when your like me, college is hard on your wallet.

Is it normal that my VIC (early gold label), emits a lot of heat through the vent ports?
