Re: Sword of Hrakel... HELP!!!

Terminal's other Vic adventures, Magic Mirror and Nosferatu by Mick Taylor, were written in Basic. Curse of the Werewolf was written by C. Robinson but I guess it's very likely that it was written in Basic too - many (most?) adventures for the Vic-20 were. Anyway, that's good news! Even I might have...

Re: Sword of Hrakel... HELP!!!

Amazing! I rember being very intrigued by Sword of Hrakel when I read the rather long description in the catalog of Swedish importer Tial Trading in 1983. But it wasn't until the early 90s that I actually got hold of the game when I asked an electronic store about their old Vic games. They had some ...

Re: Release: Popeye

A first-rate conversion :D It has both more depth and more polish than almost all other Vic 20 games of its genre. Re: Impromptu High Score Competition (Jelly Monsters)

It's all about having a good pattern to clean out all the dots and eat the two fruits (very important on later levels) before eating the power pellets - and also some complementary patterns for rounding up the ghosts after the loss of a life. But when you reach the levels with the key (the last frui...

Re: Impromptu High Score Competition (Jelly Monsters)

Ah ... my first Vic-20 game, my first own video game ever, and still my favorite home version of Pac Man! I actually rank it equal to the arcade version. The sounds are better (except the start jingle, as it is only one voice); the flicker of the ghosts just make them more ghostly; the fruits are bi...
