I'd really like to see a 21th-century version of Conway's Game of life. The old version is great too but..

The quality of VIC releases in 2008 is astonishing, thank you! This is better than any Tetris I've played on 80's computers. Must have been a lot of codework

Well, if your high score is 700 then it sure is playable to the end. Great attention to detail really, every little thing that was in the original is there.

Hmm.. at least part of the problem is that I am a bad player. already got to 126... I really want to get past 200 to see if the misses reset after that like in the original : D After you get 3 misses, the main screen shows the score you got. Is it supposed to do so or is it supposed to be a high-sco...

The bugs seem to be fixed now? The graphical work is just fantastic, it's just like the original. I didn't like the tune at first but when I let it loop in the backgroung a few times I started to like it. I would feel better if the game was always similar, like the original (or was it). I feel that ...

Now this is interesting: Just today my mother found my old G&W:s which had been lost for ~9 years (Parachute and Oil Panic) and today I read here that it has just been converted to VIC. Can that be coincidental?

I better try the VIC version now.

This is really something great! I did not believe that such a good Gomoku game could be made on a VIC. The power of this little computer still amazes me-

I's consider 5-10 seconds very fast for a VIC.. It's on a 14x14 board?

I'd want to buy this but I'm too afraid of breaking it.. I still remember what happened to my new 1541

Of course, I don't want to scare anyone, BID BID BID. This one'll go past 500 $ ?

That's really a beatiful machine!

Great work! The freezing ray makes it quite a different (and better) than the original game.

Who would have believed in 1981 that hobbyists would still produce new games for the VIC with such quality, 27 years later? Not many.

I would be nice to have. It's quite hard to find vic-demos, many are not on pouet. 3/4 of the demogroups/makers you mentioned are finnish - it's hard to believe that VIC demos are only made in Finland
Where are the demogroups hiding?

Seems good. I could buy some from Carlsson if the price doesn't get over 5 €/piece in the auction, which it can't do. (From Carlsson because then I can use IBAN. International payments are painful, hope we get a worldwide system soon.)

Now I see the usefulness of that.. I'm not much of a ML coder
Yes, the SED instruction. I hadn't used it so I did't remember the name.

I've always wondered if the 6502's DEC instruction is useful. Are there situations in which it saves time?
