I'm surprised that these things are made. Indeed I have often dreamed about publishing an in-depht guide to the VIC-20 in this millenium.

Yup, it's in the "Serious scientific applications" thread. It takes a week and a well optimized program (many tries to get the values right) to get to 94 %vol. The biggest cause of inaccuracy is that the voltage varies from 220 to 230 or something like that. Many VICs got a broken AD conve...

Eslapion, you got me worried since my VIC is often on for over 24 hours.. could that be dangerous? I think not, since when my dad used to do distillation with it, it was on for more than a week

I've found nothing but some computer books.. very boring ones. Mainly manuals for obsolete software. No hardware, a smashed PS1 controller which someone had tried to eat is my best find.

I remember it was hard finding it from youtube, I searched for Veni, Vidi, VIC..
A great demo it is, I have absolutely no clue how to do those things. As amazing as the scroller in the end of Impossiblator 2

Thank you, Jeff! VICs are very hard to find in popular culture.. When have you last read about them in some magazine? The summer 2007 issue of PIXEL, a greek gaming magazine devoted almost a page to the VIC and that's about the only time I've seen VIC in newer publications (not counting some very sh...

I've seen that VIC & Sinclair record on ebay.. I'd like to hear what it sounds like. I don't think they're using VIC-sounds although it might sound good in electronic music. Download some of Aleksi Eeben's music: http://www.cncd.fi/aeeben/ I haven't yet noticed VIC sounds in his solo productions...

sshhh don't tell anyone but a nasty sprite revealed me there's a secret key to make the VIC take ahead of a move, and thus can be forced to play against itself. But the sprite forgot to tell me which key!
I noticed that key.. I hope that wasn't a joke which I didn't get.

Quite a hard game, I wasn't able to beat it under 18 moves and it usually beats me.

Could there be an option so that the computer plays first? (I'd just like to see how it plays against itself : D)
