Re: Thorm EMI prototype carts?

For the asking price I would expect to see video evidence of them working

Re: UltiMem

Would be nice if there was an "official" boot image for this cart along the lines of the megacart menu. I guess this cart would then offer everything the MC does but offer the benefit of ready availability, updatable and larger memory.

Re: MINISKETCH - the ultimate VIC-20 doodle program!

What light pens would work with this?

How about this one?

Thanks for the heads-up. I thought they had dropped that as I expected to see it in the same issue as the game review.

I think Astro Command is already out there, but I can't find the other one.

I can rip it to TAP files for you, if it can't be found on-line (no point posting your originals if it's already there).

Looks like it sold for £80.99, so not a bad price prediction.

Re: What is a fair price for a cleaning working 1701 or 1702 Monitor..?

They don't come up very often so there isn't really a "going rate". I bagged one in reasonable condition about 8 years ago for £35, but if I was in the market now, I think I would pay up to about £80. One here to watch... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Commodore-1701-Color-Monitor-WORKI...

Not to worry, I can record over it with the Princess.

I'm assuming the .tap file you provided has the correct volume (assuming .tap files describe volume)?

Re: Freshly produced azimuth alignment tape for your VIC anyone?

I was thinking that one of these with a special crafted wave file and software would be pretty useful? Assuming they are correctly aligned, which I guess is easier than a moving tape. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Retro-Car-Telecontrol-Tape-Audio-Cassette-SD-MMC-MP3-Player-Adapter-Kit-Remote-/2914721889...

I'm surprised Pulse wasn't included in the "essential homebrew".

So the cassette deck won't work with your power supply?
