I totally understand your reasoning Mine was absolutely the same. Good luck. I had a terrible time sourcing the proper ps/2 keyboard...had a hard time figuring out the pin outs but that is just me. Good luck. Looking forward to hearing about your progress.

Omega Race was one of my first Vic-20 carts that I got when I received my Vic-20 for Christmas back in 83 or so. Incredible port, probably one of the best in my opinion!!!

Hello, I attempted 1 time to hack mine but never had much success. I could never get the keyboard to be recognized. Also, i think there may be 2 versions of the DTV, one that may not work with the keyboard hack. I gave up and just spent my money on a c-64 for 20 bucks on craigslist...which was cheap...

Man, still very cool. Looking at it in person really distracts me though, like I'm forgetting it is actually running on a Vic-20!

My FAVORITE is from Vic-20 Pinball. I really like the sound when the bumpers are hit..i just thought it had a cool sound.

hmm...looks like and adapter extender...seems odd. You could plug in an edge connector, and then to a breadboard to do some interface projects like voice synthesisers, photo resistors, etc...
