I haven't really heard much about the new Commodore C=XX . Well, I posted news about it on the Homestead, commodor, acug0447, and auscbm mailing lists. Also posted it to http://cbm.videocam.net.au . Also posted it at the newsgroups, comp.sys.cbm, alt.c64, rec.games.video.classic, comp.sys.amiga.mis...

Re: Special Vic 20 project

Hi, Seth, Nice to see you here on the Forum. Im looking into developing a special music cart for the vic 20. If you are interested, I will go into more detail after you email me. How did it go with the Synthesound music cart that you picked up at CommVEx v3? Are you thinking of modifying/improving i...

Re: Burning data on 27c256 or 27c512 for 4$/6$

If you have any electronic projects, VIC related or not, that requires data on a non-erasable (OTP PROM) 27c256 or 27c512, just send me your file. I will permanenetly record your data on a 27c256 for 4$ each chip or on a 27c512 for 6$ each chip. Chip and programming service included. Good to know, ...

I have a very nice collection of JiffyDOS ROMs available for download on my website . Unfortunately, I don't have the PAL VIC-20 ROM (the NTSC ROM is there, though!). As Andrew knows, we demonstrated NTSC VIC-20 JiffyDOS at the July 29-30 CommVEx v3. And yes, it was an official JD, straight from Ma...

You can buy a 3rd party device that will allow you to connect those things to a CD32 but they're hard to find and as a result, expensive. Yeah, the SX-1 or the SX-32 to make a CD32 into a full Amiga 1200. CommVEx v3 info at http://www.portcommodore.com/commvex or http://www.commodore.ca/forum Rober...

But Amigas and c64s don't take the same voltages. c64 takes 5v dc and 9 v ac while the amigas takes 5v and +12v and -12v. Correct. The CD32 takes 5v and 12v. The black power supply for the CD32 is 5 and 12 volts (does it say C65 on a sticker on the bottom of that supply?). I usually use a vented, h...
