Re: Visible Solar System Bug?

Hi Rick, I'm guessing it's either a bug in the software, or I missed something in the instructions. I think you missed something in the instructions (page 7): The VISIBLE SOLAR SYSTEM contains detailed models of the planets Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Mercury, Venus, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto ...

[eBay] Fake Datassette in UK

Look at this: I don't think it's original. Interesting, isn't it?

I've been using this beta version of xvic for several days, and no problems yet, except for snapshot images (.vsf) of cartridge dumps. For example, if I "smart attach" a one-part or a two-part rom image, I can play the game correctly. But if I save a vsf snapshot either with the "save...

It's sad, but most of the worst games I can think of come from the Papersoft collection (thus, from Compute!'s Gazette). Not that there are also some pearls between them, but the average is crap for today's standards. OTOH, I should bear in mind that when I was thirteen all that stuff was pure gold...

Thanks for the explanation, Ghislain. ...then he or she can buy it. I'll definitely buy it :D . I created the 16K version for the purpose of making this release more appealing to those VIC-20 users who only have 16K but not 32K expansion. Having a multi-cart, I think I'll play only the 32K version.....

OK, that's logical. Do you think that also a d64 version will be available for the customer to play on the emulator?

Ghislain, I'm spending too much time reading the manual... Anyway, just to summarize facts concerning RQ3: - When will the game be published? - It will be available for 32K and 16K VIC. What are the main differences between the two versions? - Will the two versions be both commercialized by P...

The Quest of Merravid (text adventure)

Hi there. In hope that someone may find it interesting, I converted The Quest of Merravid , a text adventure originally for the 16K VIC and the C64, to a single-filed 24K RAM game in 40 columns. I tested it and amended the solution found in the Classic Adventure Solution Archive, as it contained som...
