This is really interesting. Asking as an ignoramus, does this mean that eventually we'll be able to draw VIC compatible pictures in GIMP and then transfer them to the real hardware? Just looking for clarification.

Yea, well it was for me. It cost £8.95 which was a small fortune for a wee kid used to buying Mastertronic game!

It was my first taste of a flight sim though and it was worth every penny... Once I worked out how to take off.

I'll keep an eye open for the BB 2 if you decide to do it. And, yeah, then menu colours are hard on the eye in PAL territory!

Mind you, I find the same issue with the FE 3 and that was designed by PAL users... Maybe it's just our old, tired eyes?

FINALLY! I got myself a copy of Bomber Mission. I've been after it for a while and finally won it on evilBay for less than a fiver including P&P.

It was one of those games from my childhood that I really needed to get on tape again. Can't wait for it to arrive.

So, after about a year or so of neglect I decided to play around with my FE3. The problem I have is that I've forgotten everything with regards to usage! :( Starting with the basics: When I hit F3 to open the Disk Loader the thing just crashes back to the FE menu. I can't access my SD card directly....

Kweepa, is there any chance of this getting a proper release, at all? I know that Doom is still and active IP but I'm pretty sure it would fly under the radar and even if it was noticed I can't see John Carmack giving a toss if it was sold 'not for profit'.
