Re: What kind of display did you use in the early days?
My VIC had black and white, but I remember when I got my first colour TV for my C64. Oh, these colours.. amazing. I made a new basic game because I had colours.

Re: VIC-20 Isometric game prototype?
Sorry for the OT - and back IT: is there an ETA for beta-versions of the game? EDIT: post #3000 - yoho! Yes! Same question! Beta versions are overrated. You have to wait. My first (evil and secret) plan was that I could make very limited box version and release digital version later. But I'm lazy..

Re: VIC-20 Isometric game prototype?
You have to blame my artistic skills and low resolution. First it was a placeholder but now it's like an old friendorion70 wrote:EDIT- the main character is inspired to Spectrum's Horace, isn't he?
But yes, He/She/It looks like Horace.
EDIT: ..and NO. No playable beta. I will release it when it's ready.

Re: VIC-20 Isometric game prototype?
Well.. it's my next project for VIC-20.
I try to fix my enemy sprite mask / collision / whatever problems. I hope that I could release it someday (sooner or later). 28 unique adventure screens.

Re: New release : Super Starship Space Attack (16k)
If somebody wants to read the review : http://www.everygamegoing.com/landing/items/vic20/cronosoft/tapes/Super_Starship_Space_Attack.html First you invent a most retarded game title ever and now magazines write reviews about it. :D Why I never learn? But hey! I got more motivation to create the next...

Re: New release : Super Starship Space Attack (16k)
Thanks, Real VIC and old TV bring the real feeling and you're right. Font is hard to read, I tried too much and I was too "artistic". My next game has same monochrome spectrum look. But I have to finish it first (so many features). btw, Finnish game site dome.fi made an article about my ga...

Biggest problem is that it's only an emulator device. Yes, it's a nice emulator but.. you know..
I could pay if I could get a real handheld Z80 spectrum

Re: sega controller compatable?
