well, he did sell several 1541's and C64's in lots - eventually. his pricing was so out of whack to begin with that nobody was bidding. his store is basically a huge flop though, it's fun to watch. he has no clue. he may have just flooded the market a bit too much on the Ultima stuff now as well. th...

that's what really made me say 'wtf?!', when i saw that he was buying up just anything and everything with no sense to it. even little things (two seperate low-dollar auctions for some loose music software disks for example), and after he said 'only mint/boxed stuff from now on'. even worse, ...

crazy how this all turned out. i think he's doomed. 'buying power' :D ha! unreal... now i like him even less. :) i'm amazed at how badly he spells in public, even on his websites and now his auctions. most of his stuff will never sell for what he paid if only because his auctions look nowhere near a...

got 'em. the edge connectors are Texas Instruments', but have straight pins instead of the nice eyelets. all pins are intact, and there's a little 'key' divider so it's not plugged in wrong. the connector housing is pretty nice, but the din cable/connector is pretty low-qual. looks like they were as...

i was thinking more about this. wouldn't it be pretty unlikely to have only a few pins in the connector itself? have you seen them like this before? i would think that the pins are what makes the connection snug and that it'd be loose or uneven with just a few in there. i guess i'll find out soon en...

glued?  maybe that's why your other one 'got really weird'? lofl... i'm thinking that the DigiKey and the other are the same connector (with the solder/wire eyelets) which would be soldered to either side of the board. i've seen the other pin style connectors as well, but i can't recall w...

hmm, i guess it'd help if you liked text adventures in the first place? :) i'll give them a shot though... here's a pic of everything, maybe if someone's got a few common game carts or something? not sure what else to do with them (and why does this 'kid' look like he's 40 years old?): http://photo....
