..Thats bad news Mayhem ... I had a feeling there might be problems. I guess it might be possible to blow the the PAL cart image to eprom and replace the cart rom physically. ..of course ...this would destroy the authenticity of the cart ..but at least it would be playable on genuine PAL_VIC hardwar...

Hi dansheehan .. Check out the 'sticky' at the top of this forum ..relating to file transfer. Its relatively easy to tansfer tape data into your pc ...using the audio (line or mic) in on a sound card.. connected to any tape player (I've used a walkman) The data is effectively captured as a wav file ...

Hi friends .. perhaps an odd request but .. I have origional test/demo discs for the 1540 and 1641 disc drives but sadly the contents of these two disks have been erased .. They are all but blank ...but still have the origional commodore labels and paper sleeves. can anyone provide me with d64 image...

My 'recently won on ebay' 1541 arrived today ...along with leads and 1541 user guide... ..Plus... a 'bonus' disk box containing 12 double sided disks ...each one with approximately 4 C=64 games per side.. I now have the task of transfering the contents into d64 format for safe keeping ...
