Re: Recommended Demos
Ok, thank you for that in-depth explanation. I am definitely considering buying a PAL VIC-20 to allow for me to use more software.

Re: Recommended Demos
Ok, thank you for your response. You would be correct that I am from the NTSC region. I figure I'll try the demos anyway once my SD2IEC comes just to see what happens. Thank you for the recommendation on the demo, I will certainly have to check it out! :) On a side note, I might want to ge...

General User Guide for Amiga Modtracker-like Programs
I was wondering if there was a general reference for modtracker programs in the style of those on the Amiga. I have been wanting to learn how to use them, but I haven't been able to find a good reference.
Note: I don't have an Amiga, but I do have programs like those found on the Amiga.

Recommended Demos
I was thinking about it and I don't have many programs in the way of demos for my VIC. Does anyone have any recommended demos that I should check out?

Saving Programs and Files to SD2IEC
Hello,
Given that an SD2IEC acts as a floppy drive, are you able to save stuff to the SD Card? If so, is there any way to control where it's saved or will it just save to the root of the SD Card?

Re: Resistors between cassette port and video port?
I saved actual music! By simply leaving play pressed, you could control the cassette motor with the VIC. Imagine the expressions on the faces of your pals when the VIC screen displayed "Playing.. Judas Priest", and The Sentinel rocked on through your monitor speakers! It was mostly a gimm...

Re: VICE make error
those errors come from missing "zlib", try installing that via brew or macports or whatever you used to install gtk3 :) the macOS build process is quite new, and errors are to be expected - its good someone who doesnt have all the development stuff already installed tries it, so we can se...

Re: VICE make error
Thank you for the link, xa compiled fine and everything seemed well on its way. I then "made" it, which got me farther than before, but this time it threw me this error: Making all in src generating translate.h... generating infocontrib.h... config.status: creating src/config.h config.stat...

Re: VICE make error
what instructions? :) you'll have to do ./autogen.sh ./configure make at the very least I was following the instructions for Mac OS X in the doc/building directory, they are the same as what you stated above :) I retried the commands and they still threw the same error. :? I'm not sure if this is s...

VICE make error
I was trying to compile VICE 3.2 for Mac OS X (I'm using 10.11) and it came up with an error on the "make" step. I followed all of the directions and I get this error every time: make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop. Does anyone know why this comes up? The instruction...
