Changing device numbers permanently (not with switches) is a cinch. I did 9 or 10 1541s in minutes. Just a quick slice with an exacto knife!

I should modify my 1541 for write protection disabling and add device switching too.

I had a friend with a switched 1541 to turn write protect on and off, and change device numbers.

Cool!

I am really into the gritty , long drawn out RPGs like Ultima and Questron, so I hope I can find some to try on the VIC

It seems like I can only locate sword of fargoal and the elusive escape from mt. drash games.

Were there others?

Cuticle scissors haven't failed me yet.

regular shears are too large and cumbersome and you often end up cutting too far, or it cuts funky and bends it.

Ill go introduce myself right away! I knew I forgot something.

Role playing games?

From everyones personal opinion, what are a few good VIC Role playing games..?

I decided to give some a whirl to compare to stuff on C64, Atari, and other systems.

Wizardry might be a fun starting point if that exists.

(Is there a games database for vic like I have seen for C64?)

my disk notcher of choice in this day and age is a pair of cuticle scissors. You get them for ~3$ in the girly cosmetic isle. They are sharp, precise, and easy to replace when you forget where you put them. If you have NO notched disks yet to use as a reference, im sure me or someone else can help o...
