Nice, it's readable now in firefox. I will probably make a Vic-20 game for the competition, don't know how big it will be yet.

For some reason the background color is very dark green in Firefox, it's yellow in IE.

What's the dirty LED for? It never turns on for me.

Another tip, the powerups comes every 50 points, so you kinda know when to expect them.

I guess feel the same way about shoot 'em ups. I don't think Photon is a bad game; I'm just not a not a big fan of the genre. First off, I didn't hate Photon. I recently bought a NTSC Vic-20 motherboard which I plan to try this mod on too. It's model 324002-01 Rev E. The area around the Vic-I is very similar to my PAL Vic I modified earlier (see OP) so I guess it will be easy. The Vic-I is also socketed so I may skip the trace cutting. Though I don't know...
