This tool 1581disk is the best way, if you have a 3 1/2" floppy drive in you PC.


But most of the newer PC doesn't have a FDC port. So it is not possible to connect floppy drives anymore.

Yes, the firmware is an empty image.

You can configure your virtual FE3 in VICE and allow save to image by option. After this you have a 512KB big file which is your personal image including all games and tools you want.

it is a VICE problem, VICE supports FE3 cartridge but don#t support SD2IEC (µIEC-SD). So it is not possible to access SD card within a VICE emulated code like FE3 firmware.

Please contact either VICE team or team for Pandora VICE port.
