The first Vic game I played was Blitz on my Aunties machine just before V: The Mini Series started on telly over here in the UK. Second game was Space Snake... Both Commodore produced games. I was mad for the red Commodore tapes when I was a kid and they still look great on my shelf today. My favour...

I bought the disk a while back but it is very generous of you to share with others. Thank you for keeping the Vic alive. :)

I want to write something pithy but for the life of me I can't think of anything. Jack was a human being and by definition a complicated beast. I think most people at the top of huge companies are probably pretty ruthless but as mentioned Jack Tramiel also highly valued his family and friendships......

Sorry for posting in the wrong area. :( To make up for it here's my opinion of the game. I used to love it years ago so it's interesting to come back to it after around 20 years... I think it's a really good interpretation of the Scramble formula on the Vic. It's nice and solid with a look of it's o...

Seems a little expensive but I do like the boxed C2N. I've never seen the box for one of those before. And I suppose people are maybe expected to pay a premium for a 'good' collection in one sale. If anyone here goes for it would they mind taking photos of the C2N box for the Wiki? I'd love to see i...

So, no. You need the real machine. Maybe a later version of VICE will support interlace-mode as well.
Clue: Then we want a YouTube video ;)
Good call! I'd like to see that too. :)

First ever game I played was a Pong clone made by Grandstand. It had a light gun hardwired into it. My dad went mental when one day he came home and I had cut it off to play outside... I knew it was wrong but the gun was sooooo cool!

Thank you very much. The TAP is working perfectly. I forgot that I was using PRG Starter (a great program!) but it defaulted to expanded memory and I didn't notice.

Once again, thanks. :)

Obligatory Noob Question: Running Cavern Fighter?

I know it's only my second post and I'm asking a question already but how do I get this game to run in WinVice? I have the game files from Arma's Archive and from GB20 but neither loads. I used to have this game a long time ago but lost it somewhere along the line. Now it's as rare as hen's teeth! I...

Hi. I've call myself Micro Pet as a tribute to the genius that is Bob Yannes. I've been a VIC fan and owner for many, many years. My brother got me interested in the machine in the mid 80's when it was falling out of mainstream favour. Being the iconoclast that I am I took up the mantel of "Pro...
