Re: Just posting to say hi
Hello fellow Torontonian! Are you aware of TPUG, the Toronto PET Users Group? (http://www.tpug.ca/) We still meet every month and have the big World of Commodore show in December (3-4 this year). Plenty of VIC fans and expertise in Toronto. Next meeting is next Thursday actually, October 20th. Direc...

Re: Would anyone like to complete Mighty Term?
Not trying to divert the thread, but are there any wireless versions of ethernet modems that work with the VIC-20? Like this but wireless (my VIC-20 is in another room nowhere near my internet modem/routher). And, once you have one, can you use it with MightyTerm just as if it were a regular (old) ...

Re: VICMIDI release date?
Cool. Needs a link to that page from http://store.go4retro.com/vic-20-midi-cartridge/ as well. I'm not sure what the "main" page for the product should be to point folks to!brain wrote:I am starting to put material here

Re: VICMIDI release date?
Also, any update on the manual for the VICMIDI? We could really use some info about all the features and how to access them using POKE commands, etc. Unfortunately I can only speak to the MIDI side of things, but there's a preliminary manual linked here: http://jammingsignal.boards.net/thread/41/pr...

Re: VICMIDI release date?
Got mine yesterday!
I've created a dedicated VIC-MIDI forum if folks want to make use of it. That way can create multiple threads for different aspects without having to do so on Denial (the single thread is kind of limiting).

Help with VIC-MIDI Software
As seen elsewhere on Denial, Retro Innovations has released the VIC-MIDI cartridge for the VIC-20! I've been working on some code to implement the MIDI side of it. The MIDI In capability works very well (IMHO) but there are a couple of areas where I need some help: 1. MIDI Out capability. I added a ...

I also want to look into Upverter which is a kind of neat spin in that it's online / collaborative with change tracking and so on (kind of a github for hardware projects).

I use Fritzing. Free, open-source and pretty easy to use. Targeted at beginners (like me), but lacks a few features and the part library is a bit strange.

Re: Lemonade Stand for PET original file
I pieced them together from a mishmash of sources. You'll see the first few disks are glommed together, but here you go: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qzl4t66c2u36snu/Cursor.zip Edit: I didn't find Lemonade Stand after a brief scan of the directories, but it's a great archive and maybe it's under a diff...

I grew up with several of these books! Totally loved them, excellent introduction to programming which is now my career.
I still have the originals in my collection.

Re: Lemonade Stand for PET original file
Was it published in Cursor Magazine? I finally, finally got a working copy of the all the Cursor disks which had a ton of classic PET games. I can look and see if Lemonade Stand was among them.
