It's a "feature" of the hacked front page emulator.
It works fine on the one on my website.

Very impressive job, for both graphics and sound. By the way (off topic) I'm more and more realizing that Chrome is TRULY much faster than Firefox. The link to mdawson.net almost didn't work on Firefox (no sound, and graphics so slow they didn't make any sense) while it was fast and reactive on Chr...

The emulator on denial is a hack, and I made it that way such that it would work on iphones etc without overloading them. I've found most games don't work properly on it. I could give you a way of loading programs, but it would be useless as they all wouldn't work in some way. I think I could modify...

JS Vic20 chrome problem
Hi guys, I can't work this out... This url, http://mdawson.net/vic20chrome/vic20.php works perfectly in every browser but chrome, if I add www. to it in chrome it also works perfectly. The screen is just black in chrome without www. There are no javascript errors, everything else seems to run fine a...

Omg, I didn't realise you could get this for the vic20. On the apple it's called star blazer, I think you have to go to the top left of the screen, wait for the tank to slow down, then swoop down on it. http://www.mdawson.net/vic20chrome/vic20.php?load=http://www.zimmers.net/anonftp/pub/cbm/vic20/ro...

I managed to finish level one but in level two the screen started going crazy. The blanks in the background were replaced with another char, and after a few minutes even the ball was gone. Ah, on my emulator it's immediately broken. Must be because I launch the program by loading it into ram, then ...

Vic20Ian has done a great conversion...

Unfortunately it requires a keypad so you have to use the normal numbers on vic, quite tough. Might need a joystick conversion.
